Phoenix Suns have definitely been unplayable over the entire NBA season, tonight they proved it against the Washington Wizards one more time. Despite having important players in need of rest and a few more injured, this team's resiliance to always deliver top-notch basketball never ceases to amaze. Although no player reached the 20-point mark, there were up to 8 Suns players scoring double digits. Chris Paul got the rest he so much needed tonight with only 23 minutes played, but he still scored 12 this evening and dropped some great dimes. JaVale McGee was the top scorer for his team with 17 and other players like DeAndre Ayton and Landry Shamet showed up at the perfect time.
The Wizards did have Bradley Beal as the game's top scorer with 26 points but the Suns simply are too dominant for any team in the NBA right now. Perhaps only the Golden State Warriors can compete against this team that doesn't even have Devin Booker on their side right now. Imagine what will happen when he returns from his injury, the Suns will be virtually unstoppable. Tonight, they ended the game with a comfortable 20-point lead and no major problems. They were playing one of the most mediocre teams of the season but the Suns don't care who they play, the outcome tends to be the same regardless.
What's next for the Suns and the Wizards?
After tonight's defeat against the Suns, Washington Wizards made it 15-15 on their record. They rest for a day before making a trip to the snow in Utah to face the Jazz. As far as the Suns is concerned, any team that faces them has a guaranteed challenge in their hands. Funny enough, Suns have an interesting trip to Charlotte after reaching an impressive 23-5 record to facethe Hornets on Sunday. That's right, playing like this and they will have a full two-day resting period. LaMelo Ball will likely return to activity after getting through the COVID list with the Hornets, he does it against the biggest team in the NBA right now. Let's see how he does.
