GloRilla, the stage name of Gloria Hallelujah Woods, made headlines when she was arrested in Gwinnett County, Georgia, on charges including driving under the influence (DUI), possession of an open alcoholic beverage container, and failing to obey a traffic control device. The arrest occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning following a routine traffic stop. Officers from the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office reported smelling both marijuana and alcohol emanating from GloRilla’s vehicle during the stop, leading to further investigation.

According to reports, GloRilla, who comes from Memphis, Tennessee, allegedly admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the evening but insisted she was capable of driving. However, the officer at the scene noted that GloRilla appeared to struggle during field sobriety tests, including maintaining balance. Despite the officer's observations, GloRilla reportedly refused to submit to a breathalyzer test, which measures blood alcohol concentration.

During the encounter, there was an additional complication as GloRilla experienced a wardrobe malfunction, with her breast becoming exposed at some point during the interaction. Officers on the scene had to inform her of the situation. Despite this distraction, GloRilla was taken into custody and booked at the Gwinnett County Jail around 6:12 a.m. Eastern Time. She was later released after posting a $1,956 bond.

Despite the legal trouble, GloRilla has yet to publicly address the incident or provide any comment. Her social media accounts remained active, with no indication of the arrest affecting her promotional activities or upcoming projects. GloRilla's arrest comes amid her rising prominence in the music industry, particularly within the hip-hop and R&B genres. She had recently been in the spotlight for her feud with fellow rapper JT of City Girls, although she downplayed the drama during a recent interview on the red carpet.

As of now, it remains unclear whether GloRilla will face any further legal consequences as a result of the arrest.
