Oscar De La Hoya has a couple of career goals he hopes to accomplish. One is to enter the Hall of Fame as a promoter and the other is to sell the company that with much sacrifice he managed to create: Golden Boy Promotions.

"I'm sitting on a billion-dollar company. And I can't wait to get rid of it. And most importantly, I can't wait to be the first boxer to be inducted into the Hall of Fame as a promoter. These are my goals," Oscar de la Hoya hinted that he no longer plans to remain a promoter during an interview with ESPN.
