The past two days have been incredibly eventful to football fans everywhere. It saw football giants pitted against one another in a bid to qualify for the Semi-Final for the UEFA Champions League.

Manchester City Played with the Spanish leaders Real Madrid and Arsenal played with Bayern Munich on Tuesday 19:00 GMT. The games commenced simultaneously and was a thrill festival. Manchester City opened the scoring early after Bernado Silva sneakily edged a free kick past the Real Madrid goalkeeper in the second minute.

Real Madrid had a hill to climb but soon traversed it after Ruben Dias deflected a shot into his own net equalizing the scores. Minutes later the Brazilian, Rodrygo managed to pull Real Madrid forward after his shot deflected of a city defender ever so slightly and ended up in the net.

The score in the fourteenth minute, 2-1. The fans had already been taken on one rollercoaster of emotions in the opening quarter of an hour. The scores remained the same for fifty minutes and when push came to shove, the English wonder kid Phil Foden showed his class by rocketing a shot to the top left corner of the net from outside the 18-yard box. With the scores level, the City fans gained momentum to cheer their players on.

Five minutes later, the new signing, Josko Gvardiol also took it upon himself to unleash a screamer with his weaker right foot. Pandemonium among the Manchester city fans. From 2-1 down to 2-3 up. They were ecstatic. Real Madrid had to get out of their comfort zone in order to secure some sort of advantage in the competition.

They launched waves of attacks each with the motive of getting the ball in the back of the net. In the seventy-ninth minute, Vinicius Jr lofted a cross towards the edge of the penalty box. Every condition was favorable. The ball speed, the ball height, the body positioning, and the location of the other defenders.

Everything was aligned when Fede Valverde came and hit a super volley to land the ball at the back of the net at a terrific speed. The scores now level. 3-3 apiece. Both teams with the will to win and gain an advantage in the second leg which is to be played a week after.
