Aged 36, Novak Djokovic has clear priorities which include the Grand Slams, Davis Cup and ATP Finals. That's why after winning his 24th major title, he flew to Valencia to clinch Serbia qualification for the Finals in Malaga (21-26 November).

A week before that is the Masters event in Turin, where he finished undefeated last year. In 2023 he could become the greatest in history at Masters, tying Roger Federer's six titles.

Fatigued by the accumulation of matches, has decided to skip the Asian tour, which in his case was the Masters 1000 in Shanghai (4 to 15 October).

The Serb will rest in Marbella and will participate in the Paris-Bercy tournament (30 October to 5 November) before the Masters Cup.

It will be then when he will meet again with Carlos Alcaraz, with whom he is fighting to finish the season at the top of the rankings.

The difference between the two men is 770 points and Carlos could reach 1,500 points between the Open 500 in Beijing and the TMS in Shanghai.
