Jason Momoa has been criticized for how he addressed Nigella Lawson during an appearance on the One Show for the BBC where he promoted his upcoming Aquaman film.

The actor, aged 44, appeared alongside James Nesbitt and Lawson on the talk show but sat with his back to the woman as Nesbitt talked, seemingly excluding her from the conversation which she seemed to recognise by her expression.

One watcher wrote Twitter, now known as X.com: "Very rude body language by Jason Momoa, putting his back to Nigella".

Whilst another said: "Jason Momoa is being quite ignorant at times, especially when James Nesbitt is talking as he has his back to Nigella Lawson."

A third simply pondered: "What's Nigella done to upset Jason Momoa then".

And a fourth wrote: "Just switched on the telly. Why is Jason Momoa pointedly sitting with his back to Nigella Lawson??"
Out of character for him?

Momoa has a reputation for looking after and being kind to women. Emilia Clarke notably sang praises about him protecting her during a nude shoot for "Game of Thrones", particularly by demanding a robe for her to cover up and stay warm.

"Could we get her a f--king robe?", Clarke said, recalling Momoa's words to Armchair Expert. "'Could we get her a goddamn robe? She's shivering!"

"He took care of me in an environment, I didn't know I need to be taken care of ... He was so kind and considerate and cared about me as a human being."

When is Aquaman 2 released?

Titled "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom", it is the sequel to the first film that was released in 2018 and stars Momoa alongside the controversial Amber Heard.

Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, Heard retains her role in the sequel, which is currently scheduled for a cinema release on December 21, just in time for Christmas. Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II also star.
