Imagine being one of the biggest actors on the planet, you are recently nominated for another Academy Award and you self-sabotage your big moment by slapping one of the biggest comedians in the world on the biggest stage over a joke. That's exactly what happened to Will Smith, who has been dealing with the entire world after this happened.

Many different storylines came out of this slap, most of them related to Will Smith's marital problems. But we are all wondering what has he done in order to improve his mental health? For starters, Smith was reportedly spotted in India during a spiritual journey he embarked himself on right after all the press came down on him.

Further than that, we had no idea what else he was doing until now.

Will Smith is taking therapy sessions.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, Will Smith has reportedly gotten himself into therapy right after everything happened. The red flags on his behavior have all been there for years. All the insecurities he has and the fragile ego he carried with him at all times were exposed on that single moment.

Thinking about saving his marriage shouldn't be as important as keeping his own sanity, which is why we all wondered if he was already going to therapy. This confirmation from ET comes two weeks after his trip to India was also reported.

First of all, that therapist who is treating Will Smith needs to stay away from becoming a 'yes man' to the actor. A good therapist will most likely tell it like it is, staying in such a toxic relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith has proven to be a bad draw of the cards for both him and his wife.

But as long as Smith stays hell bent on keeping his marriage, things are probably not going to improve. If he doesn't convince himself that staying alone for a while is the better way to heal, Will Smith will likely make the same mistakes over and over again.

Hopefully, this therapy will help him overcome the many issues he's been dealing with for years.
