Megan Thee Stallion is facing serious allegations of harassment and creating a hostile work environment by her former cameraman, Emilio Garcia. Garcia has filed a lawsuit against the rapper, alleging various instances of mistreatment during his time working for her.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Garcia claims that he was subjected to a distressing incident while on tour with Megan Thee Stallion in Ibiza, Spain. In June 2022, he found himself trapped in a moving vehicle with the artist and witnessed her engaging in sexual activity with another woman. Garcia expressed feeling embarrassed, mortified, and offended throughout the whole ordeal. "I felt uncomfortable. I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. At kind of just the overall audacity to do this right, right beside me,” Garcia said.

Furthermore, Garcia alleges that Megan Thee Stallion fat-shamed him, making derogatory comments about his weight and eating habits. He claims that after the incident in Ibiza, the artist instructed him, "Don't ever discuss what you saw," and proceeded to belittle him with fat-shaming remarks like "you don't need to be eating," and called him a “fat b****”“To hear someone who advocates about loving your body tell me these things, I felt degraded," Garcia expressed.

The lawsuit also addresses labour code violations, with Garcia asserting that he was misclassified as a contractor and forced to work long hours without proper compensation. He claims that he was unable to seek alternative employment due to restrictions imposed by Megan Thee Stallion's management.

Garcia's attorney, Ron Zambrano, emphasized the severity of the situation, stating, "Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat shaming conduct. Emilio should never have been put in a position of having to be in the vehicle with her while she had sex with another woman. Inappropriate is putting it lightly. Exposing this behavior to employees is definitely illegal."

Representatives for Megan Thee Stallion have not yet responded to the accusations but one thing is certain, the outcome of this lawsuit will undoubtedly impact her career and reputation.
