Earlier this week, Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Dak Prescott filed a formal complaint of attempted extortion that was initially reported by the Dallas Morning News. However, new information by the same outlet confirms that Prescott's plan has backfired and he was accused of sexual assault by the same woman he is accusing.
Unfortunately for the star, this is a case that will have to play out in civil court in a very public manner. Regardless of his status as a celebrity, Dak Prescott will have to go through the criminal justice system like everybody else.
