Brady wasn't present for the opening week of the Patriots' offseason workout program, which was also missing one of his favorite targets in tight end Rob Gronkowski, who is reportedly still considering whether to play this upcoming season.
In Brady's 16 seasons as a starter for the Patriots, he has led them to eight Super Bowl appearances, winning five of them. In four of those victories he earned the Super Bowl MVP award, the most ever for a single player.
The certain Hall of Famer has also won three NFL MVP awards and been selected to 13 Pro Bowls in his career.
The Patriots are a bit thin at quarterback behind Brady, after trading backup Jimmy Garoppolo to the San Francisco 49ers last October. The only other quarterback on their roster is Brian Hoyer, who they signed to a three-year contract after trading Garoppolo.
