The starting QB of the New York Jets just gained 76 yards in 12 throws, without touchdowns and one interception returned to the end zone.
Meanwhile, Tyrod Taylor started for the Giants, completing a 25-yard pass. However, he abandoned the game due to a back injury.
Both starting QBs had a weak performance. Taylor and Flacco had one interception and no touchdowns.
Third QBs began the action
The action began when the third quarterbacks of the New York Jets and New York Giants stepped up.
When Mike White replaced Joe Flacco, the Jets performed better in the offense.
Davis Webb took Taylor's place, and the Giants flourished.
Mike White finished the game with two touchdown passes and 170 yards, pushing the Giants into a closer game.
Davis Webb helped the Giants step up into the game. Webb finished with 30 for 38 passes, 202 yards, and one touchdown.
However, Chris Streveler became the Jets' hero seconds before the ending.
With Streveler, the Jets were 4th and down with 26 seconds to go, and found the winning touchdown.
Streveler played 11 minutes and ended with 96 yards, no interceptions, and the winning pass.
