The long awaited series,Netflix's "Wednesday" Season 2 is now in production in Ireland, and the streaming giant has revealed the full cast for the upcoming season. The cast list for the second season was announced on Tuesday (7 May), with Jenna Ortega set to return in the title role after leaving another Netflix project. The show's lead, Jenna Ortega, will be reprising her role as Wednesday Addams, and several other cast members from the first season are also returning. These include Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, and Fred Armisen, who will be portraying Uncle Fester once again.

In addition to the returning cast, several new actors have joined the show as regulars. Catherine Zeta-Jones will play Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán will portray Gomez Addams, and Isaac Ordonez will return as Pugsley Addams. Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo has also been upped to a series regular for the second season.

Several guest stars will be featured in the new season as well. Jamie McShane and Naomi J Ogawa will not be returning as series regulars, but McShane will reprise his role as Sheriff Donovan Galpin in a guest appearance. Meanwhile, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor will all be joining the show as new cast members.

Notably absent from the cast list is Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe in the first season. In 2023, allegations of sexual assault were made against him on social media, prompting some fans to campaign for his removal from the show. While denying the allegations, Hynes White faced consequences and won't be returning as a series regular in the second season. Rumors started circulating last fall that White’s character may be written off though sources told Deadline at the time that his option had been extended along with the rest of the main cast.

White last June issued a statement, hitting back at since-deleted anonymous January 2023 social media posts that accused him of sexual assault. In his message to fans, White vehemently denied any allegations, calling them “misinformation.”

Ortega has hinted that the second season of "Wednesday" will be even more action-packed and horror-filled than the first. She has also promised that each episode will feel more like a film than a TV show. With a talented cast of returning actors and exciting new additions, fans of the show are eagerly anticipating what the second season has in store.

Season 2’s cast includes returning series regulars Ortega as Wednesday, Emma Myers (Enid), Joy Sunday (Bianca), Hunter Doohan (Tyler), Victor Dorobantu (Thing), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene) and Georgie Farmer (Ajax); new series regulars Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, Billie Piper as Capri, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter and Noah Taylor, who are joining the show, as well as Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams) and Lewis-Nyawo, who have been promoted from recurring/guest stars.
