For Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, last season was extremely disappointing as it was the first since he has been the full-time starter that his team did not at least qualify for the playoffs, so for the 25-year-old, there is still much room for improvement.

Where does Lamar Jackson need to improve?

"Lately, since I've been in the league, defenses have been changing," Jackson said during his appearance on UNINTERRUPTED's show "The Shop". "They don't play me like they play other defenses. I've got to get ready for a dog fight every game. They're going to play their best."

Jackson came into the league in 2018, that year he won the starting job midseason from Joe Flacco and in his second year broke the mark for ground yards for a quarterback in a season with 1,206, which helped him be named the Most Valuable Player in the NFL.

Even in 2020 he became the first quarterback to have two seasons of at least 1,000 yards on the ground, however, the setback in 2021 was massive by his standards as not only was he held to 767 yards with his legs, he also had the most interceptions for him in a season with 13 for only 16 touchdown throws, Baltimore was out of the playoffs and Jakson missed five games due to illness and injury.

Lamar Jackson's priorities

Despite this unfortunate circumstance, the University of Louisville graduate's priorities are clear and have a very specific order for the remainder of his NFL career.

"That's just what I've been thinking about since I was a little kid. Being a billionaire and being a champion."
