After the new fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has allegedly been agreed for later on this year, we remember the words of former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, who said that Fury has the edge over Anthony Joshua.

Tyson spoke several months ago in Eddie Hearn's BBC podcast "No Passion, No Point" and said that Anthony Joshua's flaws could be the key to Tyson Fury's victory.

"It's very interesting, Joshua is a masterful puncher. But you can see his punches coming, he telegraphs his punches"

The former champ would then say that Joshua's moves are just a recipe for disaster, because when you fight someone like Fury, who's 6ft 7in, announcing to much your punches could be very dangerous.

Mike Tyson defended the heavyweight division

After Tyson Fury defeated Diontae Wilder in an epic third fight, the former boxer, Mike Tyson had added that the heavyweight division is full of great fighters, saying that anyone who disagrees is just jealous.

"Tyson [Fury] can fight Wilder again and I like to see guys fight each other over and over again, if they're exciting fighters."

He then went on to praise Diontae Wilder, acknowledging that even though he made some mistakes during the fight, the fans still want to see the pair fight again and that's what it's all about.

"Tyson Fury is a fan fighter. The fans are in love with him, he has the momentum now", Tyson explained.

By Mike Tyson's words we can infere that's why Fury is able to set the fight conditions and take a bigger part of the earnings.

"In England, Anthony Joshua is a big thing. But Tyson Fury has got the people now, he's got the masses. They follow him like he's a messiah."
