The Pittsburgh Steelers, on the rebound or not, are in the NFL postseason after defeating the Baltimore Ravens in overtime in Week 18 and the Las Vegas Raiders beat the Los Angeles Chargers in overtime.
With this, the career of veteran quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was extended at least one more week to visit the heavily favored Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card Round.
Big Ben's ironic statements
For "Big Ben" things are as they are and, although with a completely ironic tone, he told some truths about the perceptions of the game next Sunday, January 16.
"We probably aren't supposed to be here," Roethlisberger said. "We probably are not a very good football team. Out of 14 teams that are in, we're probably at number 14. We're double-digit underdogs in the playoffs. So let's just go plan and have fun and see what happens."
