Dallas Cowboys rookie linebacker Micah Parsons has entered the team's COVID-19 protocols and will not practice Wednesday, putting his availability in question for Saturday's Week 18 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Parsons, frontrunner for the Defensive Rookie of the Year award, became the first rookie with 75-plus tackles and 10-plus sacks in the last 25 seasons.

Antonio Brown says he didn’t quit on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the middle of a game, but rather he was cut after refusing to play through an ankle injury that sidelined him for several weeks this season.

The oft-troubled wide receiver, who took off his jersey, shoulder pads and undershirt before walking off the sideline during a game Sunday against the New York Jets, said in a statement released by his attorney that he was pressured to play and coach Bruce Arians fired him when the player told the coach he was not able to re-enter the game because of his ankle.

The Las Vegas Raiders rookie cornerback Nate Hobbs was arrested early Monday morning for a misdemeanor DUI after he was found sleeping in his car, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Hobbs, who was booked into the Clark County Detention Center, played in the Raiders' 23-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts just hours before the arrest. At 4 a.m. PT, police responded to a call from The Cromwell Hotel after guests saw Hobbs asleep in his car at the parking structure's exit ramp.

Raiders interim head coach Rich Bisaccia declined to comment on the incident, saying he had just been made aware of the situation.
