In a move that blends luxury with practicality, Facebook founder and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has commissioned a one-of-a-kind Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT minivan for his wife, Priscilla Chan. This unique vehicle, crafted by the renowned West Coast Customs, features electric sliding doors and an extended frame, making it the first known Porsche minivan on the streets.

When Priscilla Chan expressed her desire for a minivan, Zuckerberg took it upon himself to create something extraordinary. He partnered with West Coast Customs, the famous LA-based customization shop, to transform a Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT SUV into a longer, more family-friendly vehicle. The result is a sleek minivan that retains the high-performance DNA of a Porsche while offering the practicality of a family car.

This isn’t the first time Porsche has dabbled in the minivan concept. In 2020, the German automaker unveiled the Porsche Vision “Renndienst,” a futuristic electric minivan designed as a family-friendly space for up to six people. The Vision Renndienst featured a central driving position, asymmetrical side windows, and a modular travel cabin, showcasing how Porsche’s design language could be adapted to a new vehicle segment. However, Zuckerberg’s custom Cayenne minivan arguably brings a more refined and street-ready approach to the concept.

In addition to the minivan, Zuckerberg also had a manual GT3 Touring customized in the same slate gray, creating a stylish his-and-hers set of vehicles. This pair of cars not only highlights Zuckerberg’s taste for high-performance vehicles but also his penchant for unique and thoughtful gifts.

Zuckerberg’s automotive interests don’t stop at custom builds. He recently revealed that his daily driver is a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, a high-performance sedan known for its manual transmission and powerful engine. This choice further underscores his appreciation for driving dynamics and performance.

The custom Porsche minivan is just the latest in a series of extravagant gifts Zuckerberg has given to his wife. Earlier this year, he commissioned a seven-foot green garden statue in her likeness, demonstrating his flair for grand gestures. Compared to that, a custom Porsche minivan seems almost tame.

Mark Zuckerberg’s latest automotive creation not only showcases his love for cars but also his willingness to push the boundaries of conventional vehicle design. By blending luxury, performance, and practicality, he has created a truly unique vehicle that stands out on the road.
