An Indian-origin pilot, Dave Fiji, was k!lled in a helicopter crash in Atlanta, US, just hours after marrying his long-time partner, turning what had been a joyous wedding celebration into a tragedy.

The crash also claimed the life of the helicopter pilot, while the bride survived and is recovering in hospital.

The White House Correspondents' Dinner, originally canceled after a gunman attempted to access the venue, has been rescheduled for July 24. The original April 25 event was suspended following an exchange of gunfire between Secret Service agents and the assailant. According to Weijia Jiang, president of the White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA), the rescheduled dinner will feature "significantly enhanced safety measures and new access procedures.”
