Olivia Rodrigo experienced a dramatic onstage mishap during the final show of her Australian "Guts" tour in Melbourne, leaving her fans momentarily shocked. The 21-year-old singer was performing to a packed crowd at Rod Laver Arena when she unexpectedly fell through a hole in the stage while running across it to hype up the audience. Footage shared by fans shows Rodrigo enthusiastically moving from one side of the stage to the other before disappearing through an open trapdoor, which appeared to have been left open from a previous entrance.

The audience gasped in horror as Rodrigo momentarily vanished from sight. However, she quickly recovered, catching herself on the edge of the stage and pulling herself back up. Addressing the shocked crowd, she lightheartedly said, "Oh my God, that was fun, I'm OK! Sometimes there's just a hole in the stage, that's alright!" Rodrigo then resumed her performance, reassuring fans that she was uninjured. She added, "Where was I?" before continuing the high-energy show.

Fans took to social media to express their shock, with one fan commenting, "Omg that fall!! I hope she's okay," while another humorously remarked, "Someone's getting fired!"

Despite the fall, Rodrigo maintained her composure and professionalism, continuing her performance as if nothing had happened. The incident occurred as she prepares to move on to Sydney, where she will perform four sold-out shows at Qudos Bank Arena later in October. This is part of her larger "Guts World Tour," which kicked off earlier this year and has seen the singer perform across the US, Europe, and Asia.

Rodrigo has been documenting her journey through Australia and other parts of the world. Reflecting on a recent show in the Philippines, she shared her excitement on Instagram, noting it was her biggest venue yet and expressing pride in performing in the country, where she has Filipino heritage. Her tour continues to draw massive crowds, and she is set to release a concert film on Netflix later this month, allowing fans who couldn't attend in person to experience the tour from their screens.
