Kelsea Ballerini is apologizing to the Outer Banks' citizens. Since it quickly became apparent that Kelsea wasn't up to date on the Netflix series while using a TikTok filter that required her to rank the characters on the show, including boyfriend Chase Stokes' John B, a user suggested in the TikTok's comment section on October 11 that she watch the entire series.
She wrote, "Because he and I have a deal!" before mentioning the upcoming fourth season of the show, saying, "But I've seen so much of this season, and it's badass." Your honor, don't ask any more questions.
Kelsea went on to rank the characters in the series, despite missing the majority of John B's adventures, attributing this to her personal acquaintance with the actors.
In the video, she stated, "First of all, the ranking system is not going to work for me at all; it's not going to serve me here." "I just wanted to post about the show, and this is the first filter I saw."
Kelsea did her best, admitting that she "fans Madelyn Cline/Sarah Cameron in this house" and that she is aware that they dislike John B's father and placed him in the tenth slot.
When a picture of Chase as John B appeared, the ranking system finally favored her, allowing her to put him in the top spot.
“The bandana, the face, the him,” she gushed. “We stan.”
The "Blindsided" singer ended the game by mentioning the Netflix series, which debuted it fourth season on October 11.
"Well," joked Kelsea, "I failed miserably at this." "But I'm really happy for everyone in season four."
Kelsea and Chase, 32, have been open about their love and support for one another since they started dating in 2023. However, they have their own lanes, as Kelsea stated to E! News in September.
Regarding the potential appearance on Outer Banks, she told E! News, "You know what? His space is his space and mine is mine," adding, "and being able to show up and support each other just as partners is so beautiful."
Regarding Chase's participation in the studio, Kelsea said, "Never say never, I guess."
