With his fans, Ozzy Osbourne is still amazing. Despite his ongoing health battle, the Black Sabbath singer made a rare public appearance on October 12 when he went to sign autographs outside of Los Angeles.
At the Son of Monsterpalooza event in Burbank, California, Ozzy, 75, wore his trademark round glasses, layered chain necklaces, and a black T-shirt.
wife, Sharon
Osbourne, 72, and their children, Jack Osbourne, 38, and Kelly Osbourne, 39. And his family members were honored to participate in and support the pre-Halloween convention.
"Thanks so much to everyone that came to @monsterpaloozaofficial this weekend!!" Jack posted on Instagram. "Loved meeting and getting to hang out with you all."
In the days before the event, Jack, who has two children with wife Aree Gearhart and two children with ex Lisa Stelly (Pearl, 12, Andy, 9, and Minnie, 6), was also present to assist Ozzy in getting his body ready for the eerie fan event.
"We are in full training mode," Jack wrote on Instagram on October 4th, along with a video of Ozzy stretching his arm muscles with an exercise band.
After all, Ozzy has faced multiple health battles in recent years, sharing his diagnosis with Parkinson's disease in 2020 and undergoing major spinal surgery in 2022.
The rock star of "Paranoid" declared the following year that he had decided to stop touring in order to focus on his recuperation, stating that he had made the "hard" decision because he no longer felt "physically capable" of performing.
In a statement from February 2023, he said, "As you may all know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine." "Getting back on stage has been my only goal during this time. I have a good singing voice. My body remains physically weak despite three surgeries, stem cell treatments, countless physical therapy sessions, and the most recent, ground-breaking Cybernics (HAL) treatment.
Ozzy added, "Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really F--KS ME UP, more than you will ever know."
He had his final surgery on his neck later that year, noting on The Osbournes Podcast in September, "Regardless of the way it ends up after tomorrow, I'm not doing it anymore. I can't."
