Britany Cartwright has no regrets about letting go of Jax Taylor. The Valley star is actually defending her recent liaison with her ex's friend in the midst of their ongoing divorce.
On the November 11 episode of Bravo's Hot Mic podcast, Brittany, 35, clarified, "We did not have a no dating in the friend group policy." "Why would we discuss that? We never did. To begin with, I had no intention of hooking up with his friend. It wasn't prearranged. I had no intention of pursuing one of his pals. It didn't happen that way.
"It was someone I felt like I knew and in our world," she said. The reason it's so crazy is that, well, how do you trust people? In addition, I was unmarried for the first time in Los Angeles.
The former Vanderpump Rules star, who is parents to Jax's 3-year-old son Cruz, also described how the unidentified mystery man slid into her direct messages and started a romance.
Brittany told host Alex Baskin, "I could tell this guy was flirting with me." I flirted with him all the time. He is definitely my type, and he flirts with me via direct messages. At one point, I said, "Come over," and he did the same. He was always attractive to me. In addition, I was furious with Jax.
Additionally, the Bravolebrity pointed out that she and Jax had established two rules to help them deal with their breakup, and she didn't violate either of them.
"We had stated that there would be no one near Cruz and no one at our joint residence," she clarified. The two rules were as follows: He had people at my house, but I'm not sure if he had anyone around Cruz. Both times, I caught them. I caught him twice.
Ultimately, Brittany didn't feel guilty because of Jax's past infidelity.
She went on, "I didn't care if I offended Jax because I was just so mad at him." "Why should I give a damn? For years, he showed no concern for the hurt he caused me. You didn't show me love, care, or anything else for years.”
