Kristin Davis of Sex and the City humorously explained why she didn't want to break up with Alec Baldwin in 2001.
After they started dating in the early 2000s, the Sex and the City actress acknowledged that she wasn't in a rush to break up with Alec Baldwin.
In order to dispel any rumors that Alec was the man, Kristin disclosed that she had dated a struggling actor who ended their relationship after she lent him $5,000.
During the February 27 episode of the Literally! With Rob Lowe podcast, Kristin stated, "Alec Baldwin was extremely wealthy by the time I dated him." "Having the most amazing home in Amagansett was one of the best things about dating Alec Baldwin."
The And Just Like That star didn't want her relationship with the Departed actor to end because the house was so lovely.
"I remember being at work and thinking, 'Sarah Jessica [Parker], I really adore that house, but I'm not sure if it will work out with Alec and me,'" she continued. This is actually one of the few occasions when I have experienced that emotion. Because I adore this house, I don't want to end our relationship.
Kristin went on to say, "I would never have needed to lend Alec $5000," confirming that she didn't need to see Alec carrying any cash. Oh my God.
Naturally, both Kristin and Alec have moved on after nearly 24 years. Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are currently married, and they have two children together: Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo, 4, Maria, 4, and Ilaria, 11. (Alec and Kim Basinger also have a 29-year-old daughter, Island Baldwin).
Kristin, who has also been connected to Rick Fox, Liev Schreiber, and Damian Lewis, is the mother of two children, Gemma, age 11, and Wilson, age 5, whom she adopted.
Regarding the unnamed actor who took out the loan, Kristin claims that he is doing well in his career and that she learned a valuable lesson from the experience.
"He's married now, and I think he's still really hot," Kristin remarked. "Now that everyone thinks he's hot, I think it's definitely someone." You don't really want to do that with someone you date because it alters the dynamic and you can't really ride that ship, which is the only reason it's a mistake.
