Good news for Suits fans: Season 9 of the legal drama is finally coming to Netflix this summer! The ninth and final season of the beloved USA series, which saw a huge resurgence in popularity last year after its 2019 finale, will be available on the platform starting July 1, as confirmed by TUDUM on June 2.

Since its addition to Netflix's catalog in 2023, Suits has set streaming records and attracted a new, younger audience. The show, which starred Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, and Meghan Markle, hit 3 billion viewing minutes across Peacock and Netflix from June 26 to July 2, 2023. It also stayed in Netflix's Top 10 Series for a month, according to TUDUM.

As the show regained popularity, new fans were puzzled by the absence of Season 9 on Netflix, as it was only available on Peacock and Amazon Prime Video. Peacock even poked fun at this, tweeting, "But I'm the only one exclusively streaming ALL NINE SEASONS of Suits."

The announcement of Suits Season 9 coming to Netflix follows news of a new rewatch podcast by stars Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty. The podcast, launched in April, will break down the series episode by episode, sharing behind-the-scenes stories and featuring guest stars.

Additionally, NBCUniversal revealed that the highly anticipated Suits spinoff, Suits L.A., is officially getting a pilot. Created by Aaron Korsh, the spinoff will feature a new cast, though it's unclear if any original actors, including Meghan Markle, will return.

The first eight seasons of Suits are currently streaming on Netflix, with the ninth and final season joining on July 1.
