Mamie Laverock, a Hallmark star, fell from a five-story building last month, and her body "shattered," according to a GoFundMe update from her family.

"We're now focusing on Mamie's surgery today. Her body is shattered. The family recently wrote, "She had a three-hour surgery, an 11-hour surgery with two doctors working on her, and another surgery today.

"Since May 26th, the physicians and nurses who have provided her with excellent care have our sincere gratitude."

According to her family, the actress from "When Calls the Heart" is "doing well" in comparison to when she first arrived at the hospital. But "she is experiencing tremendous pain."

"All we can do is cling to the wonders of every day, express our gratitude to everyone for their prayers, and marvel at the wonders of her story. They said, "Our daughter is fighting hard every day, and she loves her life and her family."

On May 11, the 19-year-old's family made the initial announcement that she had experienced a "medical emergency."

Laverock was taken to a nearby hospital by her mother, Nicole Compton, who claimed to have "arrived in time to save her daughter's life."

Later, Laverock was transferred to a Vancouver medical facility, where doctors noted that while her condition remained "unclear," it was showing "signs of improvement."

The "Wedding of Dreams" actress "was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories," according to the family.

She suffered multiple major surgeries and is now on life support after suffering injuries that could have killed her. On her GoFundMe page, they posted, "We are all devastated, in shock, at this extremely difficult time.

After the surgeries, Laverock’s family said she was “doing well.”

“It’s impossible for us to be happier. Thank you all for your support,” they wrote.

As of this publication, the GoFundMe has raised more than $35,000.
