A Russian tourist in Thailand found himself in a painful and humiliating situation after allegedly attempting to sexually assault a cow. The incident took place in Surat Thani, a province in southern Thailand.
The tourist, identified as 26-year-old Evgenii Kuvshinov, reportedly stripped off his clothes and approached a male bull before turning his attention to a female cow tied to a wooden fence. Witnesses claim that Kuvshinov tried to mount the cow, which reacted violently, pinning him to the ground and goring him. Concerned locals, who had already suspected Kuvshinov of suspicious behavior, called the police when they saw him prowling naked and heard his cries for help during the attack.
Footage from the scene shows Kuvshinov lying on the ground without any clothes as the brown cow attacked him. Police and paramedics arrived promptly and carried the injured tourist away on a stretcher. He was admitted to Bannaderm Hospital for treatment of injuries to his bottom and abrasions on his entire body.
A paramedic from the Ban Na Doem Foundation, who treated Kuvshinov, commented on the situation, saying, "We found cannabis in his car so maybe he was high. The way we found him, his actions suggest that he was trying to do something dirty with the cow, that he was trying to have sex with her."
Police Lieutenant Thongchai Chaikit of Ban Na Doem Police Station provided further details on the incident. He said, "When we arrived at the scene, the suspect was being attacked by the cow. Witnesses said he had first gone to a male cow then over to the female and tried to climb on top of her." Kuvshinov was "lucky that the rescue team arrived to save him," the officer also noted.
