The rumors are being dispelled by Mikayla Nogueira. After fans observed that she was missing her engagement ring in a recent TikTok video, the TikToker, who married Cody Hawken in 2023, addressed rumors by saying that there is nothing to be concerned about regarding her marriage.

In a video posted on January 28, Mikayla stated, "I'm ready to spill the tea as to why I have stopped wearing my wedding ring." However, I must admit that the tea is really chilly. No tea is available.

"The reason is that this s--t doesn't fit me," she went on. "This ring is enormous on me now that I've lost sixty pounds, and I may need to get it resized or buy a new one because it's too huge. It doesn't fit."

The beauty influencer, who has been candid with her fans about her battles with an eating disorder and weight fluctuations in the past, showed off how her ring now fits loosely on her ring finger.

"I have a 'C' tattooed on my finger—that's not good, and I need to get that fixed, and I will—but, yeah, if I wear this, it'll fall off and I'll lose it, so that it literally is the tea," Mikayla said. "Same thing goes for my wedding band; they're the same exact size, and my fingers are much skinnier than they were when I was heavier."

The 26-year-old said in a second video that she receives "10,000 times a day" remarks about her wedding ring and that she is "very much still married."

More than a year has passed since viewers witnessed Mikayla's dramatic weight loss, which the content creator attributed to a shift in her relationship with binge eating amid rumors that she was using Ozempic. Now, she has shared an update on her marriage.

"Because I was battling with binge eating disorder, I happened to lose 30 pounds during my recovery," she posted on TikTok in December 2023. Additionally, you may lose weight when you stop bingeing and go through rehabilitation. But it's awful to fight so hard for months to get over something that has literally almost killed you several times, just to be told, "Laugh my ass off, she's on Ozempic."

"I simply believe that it detracts greatly from anyone who puts in the extreme mental strain to get healthy," Mikayla added at the time. "I will never personally do Ozempic because I don’t want to cheat my recovery. That’s just my personal opinion."
