The singer and Daniel Bernad have reached a new custody and support agreement for their son.

Sia and her estranged husband Daniel Bernad have reached an agreement over child support and custody of their young son amid their ongoing divorce.

According to court documents, the "Chandelier" singer will pay Bernad $42,500 per month in child support for their son, Somersault Wonder Bernad, who was born in March 2024.

The monthly payments reportedly began on April 1, 2026, and are expected to continue until the child turns 18. If he remains a full-time high school student, support may continue until graduation or age 19, depending on the circumstances.

In addition to the monthly support, Sia will also cover several major child-related expenses. Those include private school tuition, agreed extracurricular activities, uninsured medical costs, and continued health insurance coverage.

The filing also outlines a financial safeguard for their son's future. Sia is required to maintain a $5 million life insurance policy naming him as the beneficiary, or provide equivalent protection through a trust.

Under the agreement, the former couple will share joint legal custody, while physical custody will follow a structured parenting schedule. The arrangement reportedly includes weekday and weekend divisions, as well as detailed plans for holidays, school breaks, vacations and communication.

The agreement arrives after months of legal tension between the pair. Sia filed for divorce in March 2025, roughly a year after welcoming their son.

Later that year, Bernad reportedly sought sole legal and physical custody, alleging the singer was not fit to parent. Sia pushed back in court filings, saying she had been sober for more than six months and was actively engaged in recovery.

A judge later denied Bernad's emergency custody request.

The question of spousal support, which had also become a point of dispute, was reportedly resolved separately in December 2025.
