Ethan Jamieson, a former child actor known for appearing in the 2012 film The Hunger Games, has been arrested in Raleigh, North Carolina, following an alleged shooting involving three men.

Police say the incident happened on the night of March 22, when officers were called to the scene after reports of gunfire at around 9:52 p.m. When they arrived, they found a driver who claimed "an unknown suspect riding an e-bike had fired a shot at their vehicle while they were driving."

Authorities noted that "two additional occupants were inside the vehicle at the time of the incident."

Investigators later identified Jamieson, 27, as the suspect. According to police, he was "the individual who discharged a single gunshot in the direction of the victims' vehicle."

Court documents further allege that the weapon used was a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, and that the three individuals involved are listed as E.F., J.M., and K.W.

Jamieson was arrested and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He was taken into custody in early April and has since been denied bail. His court date has been set for April 30.

The case marks another legal issue for the actor. In March 2025, he was arrested in Raleigh for "resisting a public officer." He was sentenced for that offense on March 26, 2026, just days after the latest alleged incident took place.

Jamieson gained recognition for playing the District 4 male tribute in The Hunger Games, a film that featured stars such as Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. Despite his limited screen time, he drew attention from fans during the movie's release.

Outside of The Hunger Games, his acting credits include appearances in One Tree Hill, The Rusty Bucket Kids: Lincoln, Journey to 16, and Justified, which marked his last known role in 2013.

Authorities have not shared further details about what may have led to the shooting, and there has been no public response from Jamieson or his representatives regarding the charges.
