Erika Kirk has spoken out against a wave of online criticism, appearing to take aim at comedian Druski over a viral video that many viewers believe was directed at her.
During the April 29 episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, the Turning Point CEO addressed what she described as ongoing attacks following the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk.
"Every morning, I wake up to a new headline lying about me," she said. "I have comedians dressing up in whiteface. I have people saying I'm not fit to be CEO, and I have Candace Owens claiming I murdered my husband, and the list goes on and on and on."
Her comments appear to reference a March video by Druski titled "How Conservative Women in America Act." In the clip, he wears heavy makeup and a blonde wig while acting out exaggerated traits associated with wealthy conservative white women.
Although he did not name Kirk, many viewers linked the character to her.
Kirk said she has been overwhelmed by the attention and criticism, adding that comedians using "whiteface" have contributed to the ongoing public scrutiny she faces.
The situation has since drawn reactions from public figures. Donald Trump commented during an Easter event at the White House, suggesting legal action. "I think you should sue him," he said. "They're so jealous of Erika... you ought to sue their ass off."
Jake Paul also responded to the controversy, calling Druski's video "fucking hilarious" and saying he had considered creating a similar skit using makeup. "We should fucking make fun of each other... what era are we living in?" he said.
Reactions online have been divided, with some defending Druski on the basis that he never mentioned Kirk directly, while others argued the video crossed a line.
