Cooper Flagg is sparking fresh relationship speculation after a vacation in Turks and Caicos that appeared to align with a trip taken by Arianna Roberson.
Following a standout rookie campaign with the Dallas Mavericks, the 19-year-old forward spent part of his offseason in the Caribbean destination. According to social media posts that have since expired and were reported by the New York Post, Flagg and Roberson were both in the same location at the same time, adding fuel to ongoing rumors about their connection.
Both athletes posted separate images from Noah's Ark, a beach club and floating bar in Turks and Caicos, on Friday, May 8. In Flagg's post, he was seen wearing a cap, sunglasses, and floral swim trunks while sitting on a swing positioned over the water. Roberson also shared content from the same spot, standing beside the swing while holding her sunglasses. She set her post to Jhené Aiko's song "Stay Ready (What a Life)," which further caught the attention of fans tracking the pair's social media activity.
Although the posts suggest they were in the same place, neither Flagg nor Roberson shared photos together, and neither has publicly confirmed any romantic relationship. Representatives for both athletes did not respond to requests for comment.
Interest in their possible relationship began earlier this year when Roberson attended Flagg's NBA Rookie of the Year press conference in April. She was seated with his family during the event, which led to increased speculation about their connection, according to reports from Sporting News.
The pair also share ties through Duke University, where both have been linked to the basketball program. Roberson is in her second year at the school and plays for the women's team, while Flagg spent time at Duke during the 2024 and 2025 period before entering the NBA. Their overlapping college timelines and mutual athletic careers have led to further curiosity about how they may have met.
Roberson's college basketball journey has included both progress and setbacks. She missed part of the 2024 to 2025 season due to injury, according to her team profile, but previously contributed as a freshman, averaging around eight points per game across more than 30 appearances.
Meanwhile, Flagg continues to build his reputation in the NBA after a record-breaking debut season that included becoming the youngest player in league history to score 50 points in a single game.
