There was no animosity between Noah Wyle and Sepideh Moafi during the second season of The Pitt.

Moafi, who played Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, an attending physician training to fill in for Wyle's Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavitch character as he prepared for his vacation, disputed claims that she feuded with her co-stars behind the scenes.

"Absolutely not," the actress stated in a Variety interview published on May 27. "We're really great colleagues."

In fact, Moafi said their "great working relationship" was why it "felt safe to do the darker, dirtier work" of the season two finale, when Robby angrily confronted Al-Hashimi about her seizure disorder and threatened to report her to the hospital for withholding critical information about her doctoring abilities.

"Between setups, we were shooting the s--- and laughing," the 40-year-old explained. "So, that's completely false that there's a personal sort of beef or rivalry between us, at least not that I'm aware of."

She continued, "You can check with Noah, but I don't know about this."

Moafi also denied that her narrative, which was left open-ended as her character concluded her shift unsure whether she would lose her medical license, was created in response to her supposed feud with Wyle, who also acts as an executive producer on the medical drama.

As she frankly stated, "I do not have that power."

Nonetheless, the Deuce alum confirmed that she will return for another season.

"Nothing is clear to me as to what's happening with the story, how many episodes, all that," Moafi replied, "but I am coming back."

Indeed, information about season three is scant. However, Wyle recently teased that "the plan" is for the forthcoming episodes to take place in "late fall" after season two's Fourth of July weekend.

"In the wintertime, you get more car accidents, more black ice, more boilers exploding, and that kind of stuff,” the 54-year-old told People in April. "Different wardrobe, different vibe."
