Law Roach is setting the record straight about Zendaya's wedding gown, and according to him, the real thing is far beyond the viral AI versions that fooled fans earlier this year.
Appearing on Good Morning America on June 29, Zendaya's longtime stylist laughed off the fake images that circulated online of her and Tom Holland supposedly tying the knot in Lake Como. "That dress was not good enough," Roach said bluntly. "Trust me, the dress is better than that."
The AI-generated photos, which spread in March, showed Zendaya in a cream satin gown with thin straps, a sculpted bodice, and a lace veil, while Holland was pictured in a tuxedo. The images were convincing enough to trick friends, family, even Holland's grandmother, who worried she hadn't been invited. Zendaya herself admitted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that people congratulated her on the "gorgeous" wedding shots, only for her to explain they weren't real.
Holland later confirmed in Esquire that the couple did marry in a private ceremony, saying loved ones weren't fooled because "they were all there." He kept details under wraps but made clear how much Zendaya means to him: "She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I ever have been when I'm with her. I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period."
Roach, who has styled Zendaya since 2011, didn't reveal specifics about the gown but emphasized it looked nothing like the AI version. His comments add to the intrigue surrounding the couple's wedding, which they've kept deliberately private. Zendaya and Holland have made it clear they want to protect the intimacy of their day.
