Jesse Williams and Alejandra Onieva have welcomed their first child together, with the Grey's Anatomy star seemingly confirming the arrival through a playful social media post.
Williams, 45, shared an Instagram video Monday, Sept. 28, showing himself opening a refrigerator filled with baby bottles while people speak Spanish in the background.
He then delivered a line from Spike Lee's 1989 film Do the Right Thing.
"English! English, alright I want my son to speak English," Williams says in the clip. "Bad enough his name is Hector."
The video closely recreates a scene from the movie, and Williams also included the original clip in his Instagram carousel. He followed it with a photo of a Spanish tortilla, a nod to Onieva, who is from Madrid, Spain.
The couple has not publicly confirmed the baby's name, so it remains unclear whether the "Hector" reference was simply part of the movie reenactment or a hint about their son's actual name.
Onieva, 34, offered a much smaller glimpse of their new arrival on her Instagram Story, sharing a video of the baby's tiny feet as she played with them.
The couple has largely kept their relationship private. They met while filming the 2025 series Hotel Costiera in Italy and reportedly married privately earlier this year.
News of their pregnancy broke in May, when Onieva shared photos showing off her growing baby bump. The actress and Williams have kept details surrounding the pregnancy and birth largely out of the spotlight.
The newborn is Williams' third child. He is also father to daughter Sadie and son Maceo, whom he shares with his ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee.
Williams and Drake-Lee married in 2012 after beginning their relationship in 2007. They split in 2017 and later reached a 50/50 joint legal custody arrangement following a highly publicized custody dispute.
