First Lady Melania Trump is putting her relationship with her son, Barron Trump, in the spotlight in the first trailer for her upcoming two-part docuseries, MELANIA, The Series.
Prime Video released the preview on Friday, November 6, ahead of the series premiere on November 20. In the trailer, the 56-year-old first lady reflects on her different roles, emphasizing that motherhood remains central to her life.
"I'm a mother, a wife, also first lady," Melania says in a voiceover as footage of her and Barron appears. She then makes her priorities clear, adding, "He's my priority. He will always be my priority."
Melania shares Barron, 20, with President Donald Trump. He is the youngest of the president's five children, with Donald also sharing Donald Trump Jr., Eric and Ivanka with his late first wife, Ivana Trump. He has another daughter, Tiffany, with his second ex-wife, Marla Maples.
The mother and son have maintained a close relationship, with Melania reportedly remaining protective of Barron as he navigates life in the public eye.
Before he began his second year at New York University, a source told PEOPLE that Melania closely monitored his whereabouts and worried about the possibility of bullying. The source said she wanted to ensure that nobody mistreated him.
Melania also reportedly chose to keep Barron out of university housing during his freshman year, with the young man instead living at the family's Trump Tower residence in Manhattan. He later transferred to NYU's Washington, D.C., campus.
Donald has also acknowledged his wife's strong bond with their son. During an August 2025 conversation with reporters, the president joked that Melania probably loved Barron more than anyone, including him.
"She's got a great love of children, she has a wonderful son that she loves probably more than anybody, including me, I hate to say it," he said.
The new series arrives less than a year after Melania's self-titled documentary premiered in February. The film, directed by Brett Ratner, followed selected moments in her life in the weeks leading up to Donald's second inauguration in January 2025.
Melania previously described the upcoming project as a more personal experience, promising one-on-one conversations and answers to questions she had not addressed publicly before.
