Chris Pratt, the beloved star of "Guardians of the Galaxy," is not only lending his voice to the iconic lasagna-loving cat Garfield in Sony's new animated film The Garfield Movie, but he's also hoping to share the screen with someone special: his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger.

At the Los Angeles premiere of The Garfield Movie, Chris Pratt revealed in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that he has asked Katherine Schwarzenegger to co-star with him in a project. When asked about the possibility of working together, Pratt enthusiastically responded, "I've asked her. I think she could be great. Because she's actually a very good actress."

Pratt praised his wife's acting abilities, particularly when she does impressions. He humorously added, "When she's doing impressions and I'm like, 'You're really good.' And she's like, 'No way. I could never do it. I would laugh too much.'" According to Pratt, Katherine's infectious laughter could potentially disrupt a scene, but he appreciates her talent nonetheless.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, shares two daughters: Lyla Maria (3 years old) and Eloise Christina (turning 2 on May 21). Pratt also has an 11-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris. Pratt expressed excitement that all of his kids will get to enjoy The Garfield Movie, emphasizing that it's a family-friendly film suitable for all ages.

The animated film follows the adventures of Garfield, the sarcastic and lasagna-loving cat, and his canine friend Odie. After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father, scruffy street cat Vic (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson), Garfield and Odie find themselves embroiled in a hilarious, high-stakes heist. The movie promises entertainment for audiences of all generations.

The Garfield Movie hits theaters on May 24, and fans can look forward to Chris Pratt's voice bringing the iconic feline to life.
