Hollywood is mourning a sudden loss. Wenne Alton Davis, an actor best known for performances on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Girls5eva, and New Amsterdam, died after being hit by a car in New York City on December 8, according to authorities and their agent. They were sixty.

Comedian Andy Dick was reportedly discovered unresponsive on a Hollywood sidewalk after an apparent overdose, marking the latest troubling episode in a long pattern of public struggles. The 59-year-old actor was photographed slumped over a set of stairs outside a building as friends attempted to revive him, according to images published by TMZ on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that emergency responders were dispatched after receiving a call about a 59-year-old man suffering an overdose. Officials said the individual was treated at the scene but declined transportation to a hospital, a scenario not uncommon for patients revived with Narcan, the opioid-reversal spray witnesses say was administered. The Los Angeles Police Department also arrived following the 911 call, though neither agency officially identified Dick as the man involved.
