Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, has continued to speak publicly about how her young children are processing the loss of their father, months after the Turning Point USA founder was fatally shot on Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University. In several interviews, she has shared the tender and sometimes heartbreaking conversations she has had with their 3-year-old daughter as the family tries to navigate life without him.
During an appearance on Hannity, Erika said that talking about heaven has become part of their nightly routine. "My daughter and I, we've talked about this at night," she shared. "She would ask, 'What do you think Daddy did today in heaven?' And I'll have her relay that back to me." She explained that she has tried to help her daughter understand the situation by telling her, "Daddy's still with us, he's just in a different location, and he's building us a home in heaven." According to Erika, her daughter responded by saying, "I can't wait to go," to which she replied, "Me too, baby."
