Clark, 24, finished with 27 points, 15 assists and seven rebounds, helping the Fever force a decisive Game 3. The standout performance came after Clark experienced some stomach trouble during halftime.
Speaking to Prime Video after the game, Clark revealed that she had vomited during the break because she was exhausted from the intense pace of the game.
"To be honest, I threw up everything in my stomach at halftime," Clark said. "I was just out there so tired. It wasn't because I didn't feel good or anything. I just was that gassed."
Despite the uncomfortable moment, Clark returned to the court and continued to lead the Fever on both ends of the floor. She later joked about the possibility of experiencing the same thing in the next game.
"Let's throw up again at halftime of the next game," Clark said.
The guard explained that she viewed the experience as a sign that she had been pushing herself physically during the game. She said she was prepared to "leave it all out there" as Indiana continues its playoff run.
Clark was asked about the incident again during her postgame press conference, where a reporter pointed out that she had previously vomited during a June victory over the Atlanta Dream.
"Yeah, that is gross," Clark said.
She explained that she believed fatigue played a major role and suggested that drinking too much water may also have contributed.
The Fever star acknowledged that the amount was substantial and apologized to anyone who happened to be near the trash can at the time.
"An incredible amount of throw-up," she said.
While the moment was certainly memorable, Clark's performance became the bigger story. According to ESPN, she became the first player in WNBA history to record at least 25 points and 15 assists in a game, including both the regular season and playoffs.
Clark also credited the Fever's improved physicality for their response after Game 1.
"I thought that we were just soft in Game 1 and I thought tonight we just played a lot tougher," she told Prime Video.
Clark added that she was proud of the team and happy to see the Fever's fans celebrate the playoff victory.
With the series now headed to Game 3, Indiana will look to build on Tuesday's performance as it fights to advance.
