Boston College has indefinitely suspended its men's and women's swimming and diving programs over what it said was hazing, the university announced Wednesday.

The suspension comes after university administrators "determined that hazing had occurred within the program," the Boston College athletics department said in a brief statement.

"The University does not -- and will not -- tolerate hazing in any form," the statement said.

Mike Babcock, the coach with a Stanley Cup championship and two Olympic gold medals on his resume, has lost his last two jobs in the NHL.

Last time, it was for losing too many games. This time, it was for his interactions with players that followed a disturbing pattern of past behavior.

Babcock resigned as coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday after just two months on the job, less than a week after his requests for personal photos from players in a bonding effort drew criticism as too invasive.

The team announced Babcock’s abrupt departure in the aftermath of an investigation by the NHL Players’ Association into his conduct. Pascal Vincent was named Babcock’s replacement and signed a two-year contract through the 2024-25 season.

Simone Biles and husband Jonathan Owens can't help but be excited as work on their home continues.

The 26-year-old is coming off winning her eighth national title in California last weekend, and over the weekend she gave fans a look at how things are progressing.

Biles posted a series of photos on Instagram showing the home, which belongs to the pair given the Olympic gold medalist wrote, "Loading..." in the caption.
