As the summer transfer window draws near, many teams are looking to reinforce their squads with many eyes on big names and upcoming star who could be on the move this coming window.

After finishing second and losing out on the title to rivals Manchester City, Arsenal are in the market for a new striker with Benjamin Sesko being one of the main targets. The young Slovenian who has had an outstanding season with RB Leipzig could be on his way to the Gunners who need more options up front. A deal rumoured around €65 million is on the card but nothing concrete so far.

Neighbors Chelsea are also interested in the 21-year-old forward and could look to hijack the deal. Elsewhere in the Premier League defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and Lloyd Kelly move to Chelsea and Newcastle respectively as both teams look to bolster their defences with departures of veterans such as Paul Dummet(Newcastle) and Thiago Silva(Chelsea). Moreover, Crystal Palace complete swoop for Daichi Kamada from Lazio as a free agent while Unai Emery’s Aston Villa tie up signing of Luton midfielder Ross Barkley, for a fee of around £5million.

Moving on to the Spanish La Liga, Champions league as well as league winners, Real Madrid confirm the capture of French star Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer, making this possibly the highlight of the transfer window. Moving on to arch-rivals Barcelona where the deal to sign defensive midfielder Guido Rodriguez is collapsing. This is since former manager Xavi has been sacked as well as the ‘pre agreement’ (as per Fabrizio Romano) being only verbal and valid to the end of May leaving the Blaugarana back at square one in their search for a defensive midfielder. Real Madrid neighbours Atletico are set to release Saul Niguez and Stefan Savic, while also looking at goalkeepers Andriy Lunin and Giorgi Mamardashvili. The future is also unclear on forward Joao Felix as Barcelona want to keep him. In other news, league dark horse Girona are closing in Luciano Rodriguez from Uruguayan side Liverpool Montevideo.

Over in the Serie A, former Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku who was on loan at AS Roma from Chelsea has been linked to fellow Italian giants Napoli, who have recently put pen to paper with new head coach Antonio Conte. However, Chelsea is said they have no intention of loaning Lukaku out, though Napoli as well as other clubs could procure his services for £38million.

It's not only players but also managers who are on the move. Other than Antonio Conte’s move to Napoli, former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss, Jose Mourihno has signed with Turkish giants Fenerbache. After an amazing 9 years at Liverpool Jurgen Klopp says goodby to the Reds who have brought in Feyenoord's Arne Slot. Following Massimiliano Allegri’s departure, Juventus have brought in Italian legend Thiago Motta who’s had a stellar season at Bologna leading them to Champions League qualification. In turn Bologna have brought in Vincenzo Italiano. Another Italian coach on the move would be Enzo Maresca, who has taken the helm at Chelsea after leading Championship side Leicester back to the Premier league.

These are just but a few as many teams are yet to make their move waiting for competitions such as the Euros and Copa America to make their final decisions.
