Kelly Clarkson is undoubtedly feeling more resilient, but not as a result of her medicine. The singer of "Since You Been Gone" addressed recent reports about her weight reduction, disclosing that she did not take Ozempic, a type 2 diabetes medicine that has gained popularity in Hollywood for helping people lose weight.
Kelly Clarkson revealed that she has been using a different medication to help her slim down after weighing 203 pounds at her heaviest point. The unnamed treatment aids in breaking down sugar, which her body doesn't do correctly. Kelly's blood work got so bad that she had to do it, as everyone thought it was Ozempic. She admitted that she had been chased by her doctor for two years and was afraid of it.
She didn't realize who she was seeing on film when she saw a performance of herself, and that's what inspired her to start losing weight.
Kelly, who divorced Brandon Blackstock in 2022, revealed that her inner circle didn't notice her body changing over time. Kelly's manager, who has known her for over 15 years, acknowledged her shock and the gradual change. Kelly also clarified that many were concerned that her size meant she was "miserable and depressed," but she explained that she was "riding high with someone" and living her best life. The American Idol alum is known for her positive attitude and commitment to her health journey.
The "Because of You" singer has recently been open about her metamorphosis, stating that receiving a pre-diabetic diagnosis gave her even more motivation to alter her diet and improve her health.
I consume a varied diet. She told People in January, "I lost weight because I've been listening to my doctor—a couple of years I didn't." "And 90 percent of the time, I'm really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway."
Even though Kelly didn't use Ozempic to lose weight, you should still continue on to learn what other celebrities thought of the drug for diabetes.
