Morgan Wallen has been staying away from bars with whiskey glasses. "It's definitely the best thing for me," the "Whiskey Glasses" singer said, revealing that he hasn't visited a saloon of any kind since he was arrested in April 2024 on misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment for hurling a chair off the roof of a six-story bar.

Morgan stated on the April 2 episode of the This Past Weekend with Theo Von podcast, "I haven't been in a bar since the last time I was in a bar that everyone knows about." "That was the last time I was in a bar, and it was also the most public time."

What is the cause of his avoidance? The 31-year-old, who entered a guilty plea to the charges in December and received a sentence of two years of probation and seven days of incarceration at a DUI rehab facility, stated that his notoriety was the obstacle he no longer wanted to overcome.

"Going everywhere isn't ideal for anyone who has to deal with that," he added. "And you were on edge the entire time because you thought you might, even if you don't get bothered."

"There are some things you just don't do anymore," he continued. However, that's alright.

The singer of "I'm the Problem," who has a 4-year-old son named Indigo Wilder with his ex-fiancee KT Smith, now prefers a more sedate environment with his friends whenever he has free time instead of going to his neighborhood hangout.

He revealed, "That's why I've started hunting so much." You can go hang out with your friends; I'm in the middle of nowhere. I feel comfortable. I am unable to become stressed. You simply look for ways to add to it.

Additionally, Morgan is accustomed to making a big impression, even though he might prefer to remain anonymous. His abrupt departure during the Saturday Night Live March 29 closing credits and subsequent Instagram post from an airport with the caption, "Get me to God's country," raised suspicions among viewers that he was upset over the gig.

Morgan has not publicly responded to the recent controversy, but his website is currently selling merchandise bearing the now-viral caption.
