Gypsy Rose Blanchard was involved in a minor car crash in Louisiana over the weekend, just weeks after the death of Ken Urker, the father of her daughter.

The Louisiana State Police confirmed that troopers investigated a collision involving Blanchard, 35, in Terrebonne Parish on Saturday, Oct. 17. The crash resulted in minor property damage, with no injuries reported or any arrests made.

According to TMZ, the collision happened at an intersection in Houma. A source told the outlet that Blanchard had valid car insurance at the time and that the sun was in her eyes, which may have contributed to the crash.

The incident came to public attention after a Facebook user claimed to have been involved in the collision, writing, "2026 is wild. Just got sideswiped by Gypsy Rose. FML."

Blanchard has not publicly commented on the crash.

The collision comes during a difficult period for Blanchard following Urker's death earlier this month. Urker, 34, was found dead at his home in Raceland, Louisiana, on Oct. 1, which was also his birthday. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office previously confirmed that deputies responded to a residence at around 6:15 p.m. and found Urker dead upon arrival. His death remains under investigation.

According to reports, Blanchard had sent Urker a birthday message but did not receive a response. He was later found by Blanchard's brother, Dylan, and his wife after they arrived at the home. Urker's sister, Autumn, also confirmed his death in a TikTok livestream, saying his last words to her were, "I love you."

Blanchard and Urker first connected in 2017 while Blanchard was serving a prison sentence for her role in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. They became engaged in 2018 before splitting and later reconnecting in April 2024. They welcomed their daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, in December 2024.
