Further information regarding the passing of Garrison Brown has surfaced. The cause of death of the 25-year-old Sister Wives star has been revealed, following his discovery dead at a residence in Arizona on March 5.

Garrison, the son of Kelly Brown and former Janelle Brown, committed suicide, per an autopsy that People was able to get on May 15.

On what would have been her son's 26th birthday last month, his mother Janelle—who also has children Logan, 29, Madison, 28, Hunter, 27, Gabriel, 22, and Savannah, 19—wrote a heartfelt ode to her son.

The 54-year-old posted footage from Garrison's birthdays throughout the years on Instagram on April 10, along with the caption, "Happy Birthday, Sweetheart." "Today, you are sorely missed. It's difficult to accept that you are no longer with us."

That particular day, Janelle revealed, the family "talked a lot" about Garrison and even had dinner at Texas Roadhouse, which is his "favorite place."

She went on, "I still feel you nearby sometimes." "And I'm grateful we will see each other again when my journey is completed."

Madison, Garrison's sister, revealed her brother's death after his passing and made a public appeal for others to talk about mental health in a more honest manner.

In an Instagram video posted on March 18, she stated, "I don't think we talk about mental health enough, and I don't think we do enough to raise awareness." Mental health is extremely important. "It wasn't bullying; it wasn't a lack of love that Garrison had; it was mental health, and I am going to continue talking about mental health and self care until I am blue in the face."

Madison also went into further detail about how social media frequently contributes to the aggravation of mental health issues.

"Social media is not real—it's a highlight reel, and that was something that Garrison and I talked a lot about," she stated. "I know my other siblings and my mom have expressed this—that Garrison used to feel like he wasn't doing enough because he was comparing himself to things on social media, and I don't think that it's real, and we need to remember that."
