Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were first spotted together on August 2016. The reality star revealed during the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians 10 year anniversary special” that the two met at the Bel-Air hotel on a blind date and they just connected. This is after TMZ posted the pictures of the two at Bootsy Bellows night club in Hollywood.
According to Malika Haqq, khloe’s close friend, she stated at the time that Tristan was really nice to her friend, claiming that he’s the coolest guy in the world. Jordan Craig, Tristan’s ex girlfriend stated that Tristan and Khloe started their relationship while she was still pregnant hence leading to the breakup, claims that Khloe has continuously denied.
“It’s such a great feeling that l have my happy back! It’s from a genuine place and the most peaceful I’ve been in for longer than l can remember,” Kardashian wrote in a now deleted blog post. She also stated that they are in love, happy and in a healthy relationship. On September, 26, 2017, Khloe Kardashian’s pregnancy post broke but she did not confirm the rumours till December that same year. She stated that the cause of the announcement delay was that she did not want to upstage her younger sister Kylie Jenner, who was also pregnant with her first child at the time.
Around October 2017, TMZ obtained a surveillance footage showing Tristan Thompson getting cosy with two women at a hookah lounge, while kissing one of them, however the footage was released on April 2018. At this time, Khloe was in Cleveland, just days away from giving birth to their first child together. After that scandal, Khloe gave birth to True Thompson and chose to remain in the relationship. When asked by a Twitter fan why she stayed with Tristan despite his infidelity, Khloe stated that as a household, they are going through enormous rebuilding and learning to coexist with each other.
Just ten months after Tristan was caught cheating on the reality star, he was spotted kissing Kylie Jenner’s ex best friend Jordyn Woods at a party. The Kardashian family decided to cut ties with Jordyn because they felt betrayed by her actions. This is because they treated Jordyn like family and were close to her throughout the years. After this incident, Khloe broke up with him and they continued to coparent.
The two got back together on August 2020 and they were talking about expanding their family. Despite their rekindled romance, the real housewives of Miami star, Larsa Pippen claimed that she knew Tristan before Khloe and that he introduced him to the Kardashians. On July 2022, Tristan and Khloe welcomed their second child with the help of a gestational carrier, just after Nichols, Tristan’s mistress, gave birth to their son Theo. A source told US that Khloe felt betrayed because Tristan was cheating on her as they tried to look for a surrogate and that’s unforgivable to her. She claimed that she was done with him romantically and that there’s no place in her mind that wants Tristan back.
In a recent Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode, Khloe has a conversation with Tristan and he was being persistent, wanting them to be a big happy family, but Khloe says “No”. She claims that she doesn’t want to do anything that will give Tristan a glimmer of hope when it comes to rekindling their romance.
