Ryan Reynolds headed to Spain to support his close friend Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour performance in Madrid. On Thursday, May 30, Reynolds, 47, joined his wife, Blake Lively, in the audience at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to watch the Grammy-winning singer, 34, on her second night in the city. The couple was seen having a great time, with Reynolds dancing and Lively running around barefoot, according to an audience member.
Reynolds had previously announced his plans to attend Swift's Madrid concert during an appearance on Today with Hoda and Jenna earlier this month. He mentioned that this would be his first time experiencing the international tour, humorously explaining his busy schedule over the past year and a half. "I've been trapped in a non-stop work bubble, and it's a problem," he joked. "I'm getting help. Intervention is the word they're using."
Reynolds also shared that his children had already attended several of Swift's Eras Tour shows. "They love it, they're obsessed," he said on Today. The couple has four children: James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4, and a fourth baby whose name has not been revealed.
During the May 29 show, Swift gave a special shout-out to the couple's three daughters. While playing her guitar, she said, "I have to say that on Folklore, some of my favorite characters are named James, Inez, and Betty," referring to her song "Betty" from the album Folklore, which includes the names of Lively and Reynolds' older children.
Reynolds previously revealed in a SiriusXM Town Hall interview in August 2021 that they kept their daughters' names in "Betty" a secret until the song was completed. "We surprised them with it," he said. "They didn't know. They had no idea."
Swift's Eras Tour has been a tremendous success, drawing fans worldwide, including Reynolds and Lively, who are known for their close friendship with the singer. The couple's presence at the concert highlighted their support and enjoyment of Swift's music.
