Khloé Kardashian has no interest in re-entering the dating scene. During the June 6 episode of The Kardashians, Scott Disick inquired about her romantic life, asking if she had a boyfriend or had been on any dates. Khloé, 39, firmly responded, "I don't want to!" She explained that her busy schedule and early mornings with her two children — daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 21 months, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson — are reasons she's not looking to date.
"That's my time," she said. "I'm not sharing it with a man. I'm not sharing my TV, I'm not sharing my bed!"
When Scott, 41, asked if there was any chance for Tristan, 33, despite their history of reconciliations and breakups, Khloé replied, "No... the door's closed." She emphasized that while she's happy to maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship with Tristan, she has no intention of rekindling their romance.
In a confessional, Khloé elaborated, "Oh my god, are you kidding me? This is life, we all gotta grow up and move on... Everyone has been really judgy about how I spend my time because I'm not dating. I stopped dating Tristan when Tatum was in utero. Two and a half years is not that crazy!"
She acknowledged the benefits of living near her ex for their children but noted, "Now that he's in Cleveland [for the Cavaliers], this is really, really healthy for us 'cause when he was next door, he was always over... he loved the routine and I was like, 'F---.'"
Scott commented on how awkward it must be for Tristan to live close by and see Khloé moving on. Khloé responded, "If he wanted to torture himself, that's on him! You want to see all these men pulling up to my house? That's your problem."
When Scott asked if she was currently seeing other men, Khloé clarified that it wasn't happening "right now" but would eventually. "You think I'm just gonna be celibate for the rest of my life?" she asked, emphasizing her current comfort in her routine.
In a confessional, she added, "Let's just say I'm dating. I have no idea how you're supposed to date with kids because I'm not bringing you to my home where my kids are, and I'm not going to your home where you're gonna chop me up in your basement and kill me and I'm also not going to a public restaurant or space where people can take pictures and you're gonna be another notch on my belt in the public's eyes. I don't f---ing think so."
Khloé and Tristan began dating in 2016 and experienced multiple breakups due to his infidelity, including an incident just days before their daughter True was born and another with Jordyn Woods in 2019. They attempted to reconcile but ended things for good after it was revealed in December 2021 that Tristan had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols while he and Khloé were expecting their second child via surrogate. Khloé officially ended their relationship months before their son Tatum was born in August 2022.
Khloé has repeatedly stated that she has no plans to get back together with Tristan. "These boundaries are so important to put into place with Tristan because we've done this song and dance a handful of times already," she said during a June 2023 episode of the Hulu show. "I've gotten back with him after a cheating scandal so I don't know if Tristan is under the impression, 'Oh wow, OK, let's just ride this out and eventually she'll get back with me.'"
"I get why he would think that, so it's my job to set boundaries that my actions show otherwise," she continued. "I keep it very short and sweet and make sure he knows it's always about the kids because it's so easy to fall back into [habits]. I can't let those old habits easily come into my life. It's just not what I want."
