Darren Criss is undoubtedly ecstatic to hear this news. Brother László Criss is the name of the baby boy who was welcomed into the world by the Glee star and his wife, Mia Swier.
"M&D has just released their follow-up single," Darren posted on June 6 to Instagram. "László Criss, brother. The 37-year-old posted a sweet picture of their smiling baby boy wearing an oversized pair of sunglasses with the message.
When some fans asked Darren what their son's first name was, he responded right away, saying, "And yes, his first name is Brother."
The Emmy winner's friends and co-stars were ecstatic to hear of the baby's arrival. Former Glee co-star Matthew Morrison wrote, "Yeah! I'm so glad for your expanding family! I cherish each and every one of you."
Darren's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Costar Rachel Brosnahan wrote, "Congratulations, family!"
Bluesy Belle Criss, 2, is Darren and Mia's daughter. They announced their second pregnancy in December by sharing a spoof Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again poster online, in which the family's faces have been altered to appear on the cast.
For the American Crime Story alum, becoming a father has been a dream thus far. He has expressed before how the experience has been "beautiful" and how it has altered his approach to his work.
He said, "I think life is always present in the work you do," to Entertainment Tonight in 2022. "So, it was present when I was a son, as a friend, as a brother, as a husband."
He went on, "I apply that to everything I do." Of course, becoming a father comes with a new element, but I always strive to be the best version of myself. I hope I've improved now. I've advanced in level."
