Dalton Gomez and Maika Monroe are officially Instagram official! On Sunday, June 9, the It Follows star, 31, revealed her relationship with real estate agent Dalton Gomez, 28, through a photo dump on Instagram. Previously married to Ariana Grande, Gomez is now seen sharing intimate moments with Monroe.
Monroe's post, captioned with a simple star emoji, began with a picture of her standing on her tiptoes to kiss Gomez in a crosswalk. The final slide featured a clearer shot of the couple snuggled up against a sea view, dressed in matching all-black outfits during the golden hour. This marks their first official grid post together, although Monroe had shared pictures of Gomez on her Instagram Stories before.
The couple was first linked in October 2023 when TMZ published photos of them kissing. Since then, they've been spotted publicly several times, including a PDA-filled moment at Los Angeles' LAX airport last month, as captured by multiple outlets.
Both Gomez and Monroe have had notable past relationships. Gomez was married to pop star Ariana Grande, 30. Their relationship intensified during the pandemic, leading to an engagement in December 2020 and marriage in May 2021. However, they separated in July 2023, finalizing their divorce in March 2024. Grande is now dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater.
Monroe, on the other hand, was linked to Stranger Things star Joe Keery, 32. The pair made their first red carpet appearance together in October 2017 and separated sometime between 2022 and 2023. Keery opened up about their breakup for the first time in a June 6 interview with Variety, mentioning the emotional challenges he faced while filming season 5 of Fargo after their split.
With their Instagram debut, Gomez and Monroe have made their relationship public, delighting fans with their sweet and stylish photos.
